Tutorial - How to create & manage PPT Productivity Slide Library
Create and manage PowerPoint Slide content for your team/organization with the PPT Productivity ...
With PPT Productivity PowerPoint add-in you can customize your settings according to your preferences. Generally, when your transfer to a new machine, you custom settings will be copied to your new computer when your user profile is transferred (typically the IT team in larger companies will 'image' your machine and then transfer the full image). However, if you are transferring to a new machine without the full image being copied across, you can save your settings and Personal Slide Library to import to a new machine or profile.
PPT Productivity does not save your Slide Library assets to any central servers - your saved slides stay either on your local machine or your nominated personal or company share drive (e.g. your company OneDrive).
In the following tutorial we will learn how to save your custom PPT Productivity settings in PowerPoint, via the PPT Productivity Settings menu. In the tutorial, we refer to saving the settings to be shared with team members. However you can follow the same steps to save the settings profile to import onto your new or re-imaged machine.
To copy across your personalized Slide Libraries, navigate to C:\Users\Public\Documents\PPT Productivity\... and copy the Library folders from that location. Save these to a file location you have access from your new machine, or Zip the folder and email it to yourself. On your new machine, save the folders to the same location (C:\Users\Public\Documents\PPT Productivity\..). You will now have access to the same customized library content you had on your previous machine.
