Slice shapes
PPT Productivity's Slice Shapes feature lets you split a selected shape into multiple shapes in PowerPoint. Simply select a shape on your PowerPoint slide, then click the Slice Shapes feature button. You will be prompted to enter how many copies of the shape you want to insert. This feature duplicates the original shape in multiple mini shapes and inserts them onto your PowerPoint slide.
The new shapes added to your PowerPoint slide will fit within the largest height and width boundary of the original shape, in a grid layout. This means if you are slicing a square or rectangle, the effect is that the original shape has been 'sliced up'. However if you slice a circle, the slice feature will add circles to your page in a grid that aligns to the height and width of the original circle.

If you have text in the selected shape you will be prompted to select to either include or exclude it when multiplying the shapes.

-
Enhanced Feature: In February 2023 PPT Productivity rolled out an update and the Make Chevrons same angle feature was replaced with the Chevrons and Angles Painter, which lets you adjust angles and tips of chevrons and other shapes in PowerPoint for consistency.
Quickly adjust the tip of selected chevrons, arrows or pentagons to the exact same angle as the first selected shape on your PowerPoint slide.
Chevrons (also known as block arrows) are great to use in diagrams such as project phases. But once you adjust the length of a chevron in PowerPoint, the angles of the tips change and are inconsistent. This PPT Productivity feature lets you match chevron angles in PowerPoint to make them consistent.
Start by selecting two or more chevrons in PowerPoint (feature only works if two or more shapes are selected).
With chevrons selected, click the Set Chevrons to Same Angle button. The feature will align angles of all selected chevrons in PowerPoint.
Note that the first shape must contain an adjustable angle - otherwise it cannot work out the angle for the rest of the shape. This feature can also be used to set or match the angles on arrows, pentagons and parallelograms on PowerPoint slides.
Productivity Tip
PPT Productivity's downloadable libraries includes a chevron library file which contains commonly used vertical chevron list and horizontal chevron list slide layouts, to speed up your work. You access these easily from the Slide Library toolbar. Read more about downloading free shape libraries.
Shortcut Keys
All PPT Productivity features can be used via the Customizable PowerPoint Shortcuts feature. You can choose a PowerPoint shortcut to make chevrons same angle.
