- Edit Shapes
PPT Productivity PowerPoint add-in has 100+ time saving features. Edit Shapes features let you quickly edit shapes e.g. to make them the same height and width, to paste shapes and 'hammer' them into the same place on multiple slides.
Most of the Edit Shapes features can all be found on the Format Toolbar for PPT Productivity Power Tools users (this includes the Free trial). The Format Toolbar can be redocked to the top, bottom or either side of your screen. You can resize the Toolbar and easily toggle to show or hide features or feature groups.
There's also a Color Palette toolbar to make recoloring easy, resizing features, shortcuts for adjusting outline thickness, margins in cells shapes and tables and much more.
PPT Productivity's features let you spend less time formatting so you can focus on the story.
Scroll down to read about the features or navigate using the menu at left.
The Resize features let you incrementally resize one or more shapes on your PowerPoint slide, to make shapes objects or images larger or smaller.
There are three resize features:
- Resize 110%: Scale selected shapes to enlarge by 10%
- Resize 90%: Scale selected shapes to shrink by 10%
- Custom scale: enter a value to specify the rescale amount
Continued pressing of the scale up or scale down buttons will progressively resize your selected shapes, objects or images.
If you need to scale a set of shapes, Group them together first to scale the layout consistently.
All PPT Productivity features can be used via the Customizable Shortcut Keys for PowerPoint feature. You can update the shortcut keys to any preferred available combination, but to get you started we have set up the following for resizing shapes:
- PowerPoint Shortcut Keys to shrink selected shapes to 90% of initial size: Ctrl+Alt+Shift+J
- PowerPoint Shortcut Keys to increase shapes to 110% of initial size: Ctrl+Alt+Shift+K
