Edit Shapes

PPT Productivity PowerPoint add-in has 100+ time saving features. Edit Shapes features let you quickly edit shapes e.g. to make them the same height and width, to paste shapes and 'hammer' them into the same place on multiple slides.

Most of the Edit Shapes features can all be found on the Format Toolbar for PPT Productivity Power Tools users (this includes the Free trial). The Format Toolbar can be redocked to the top, bottom or either side of your screen. You can resize the Toolbar and easily toggle to show or hide features or feature groups.

There's also a Color Palette toolbar to make recoloring easy, resizing features, shortcuts for adjusting outline thickness, margins in cells shapes and tables and much more.

PPT Productivity's features let you spend less time formatting so you can focus on the story.

Scroll down to read about the features or navigate using the menu at left.

Change margins toggle

Quickly change margins in PowerPoint Text Boxes and Table Cell margins, using the PPT Productivity Change Margins Toggle feature. Choose from Normal, None, Narrow and Wide margins.

PPT Productivity makes it easy to adjust margins in PowerPoint. Adjust one or more text box or table cells on your PowerPoint slide with the Change Margins Toggle. Click the button repeatedly to cycle quickly through the options.

Great for quickly adjusting a table to optimize size, or when trying to fit text within a shape that you don't want to resize.

Standard PowerPoint margin settings are each controlled separately for left, right, top and bottom. Accessing the standard PowerPoint margin settings is via right click, Format Shape and adjusting each value. This can be 6 or more clicks and multiple attempts to choose your preferred margins!

PPT Productivity's feature is a great timesaving shortcut to set margins in PowerPoint quickly.

Productivity Tip

  1. You can specify Margin settings within PPT Productivity for each of Normal, Narrow and Wide using the Margins -> Set Margin Defaults
  2. The Change Margins Toggle feature works on multiple shapes or tables, including a selection of cells within a table
Shortcut Keys

All PPT Productivity features can be used via the Customizable Shortcut Keys for PowerPoint feature. You can create a PowerPoint shortcut to Toggle Margins.
