Slide Builder
PPT Productivity PowerPoint add-in is a timesaving PowerPoint automation tool with 200+ features. PPT Productivity's Slide Builder features make it easy to quickly setup new consulting style PowerPoint slides. Simply turn on the guides, choose the number of columns and width of gutters, then click to add your textboxes and other elements.
Text boxes snap to the Design Guides and you can chose the alignment point for other elements (eg left, right or center of the column guides), making it easy to get the formatting right from the start. Work twice as fast in PowerPoint with PPT Productivity.
Custom PowerPoint Guides
NEW FEATURE - PPT Productivity's PowerPoint Guides make setting up slides easy, by creating a layout with column and row guides to help arrange your content.
The PowerPoint Guides feature lets you quickly setup your PowerPoint slide layout by specifying columns, rows, and gutters as visual guides for arranging your slide. The dotted guide lines will not appear when you print or present. Choose your preferred number of column guides and/ or row guides - for example set a 4 column guide layout to quickly add 4 client credentials. Plus, turn on the snap textboxes feature option - when you add header and text boxes from the Slide Elements list, they will 'snap' to match the column widths.
There is a Show Guides checkbox on the Slide Builder Toolbar - simply uncheck this box once you have finished working with the guides if you no longer want them to display. Once you specify your preferred number of column and/or row guides, you can further customize the gutter sizing (column gaps) or outside margins (eg slide boundary or No Fly Zone).
Productivity Tip
Note that the columns or rows indicated with the Guides in PowerPoint are visual aids to help in creating well laid out consulting style slides - the dotted design guide lines will not appear when printing or presenting your PowerPoint presentation.
