NEW FEATURE - PPT Productivity's PowerPoint Slide Elements feature is a toolbox of headers, textboxes, section guides, number balls and other elements that make it easy to quickly set up a new PowerPoint slide from scratch.

The Slide Elements Toolbox contains textboxes and shapes that help you quickly setup new consulting style PowerPoint slides. If you turn on the snap textboxes checkbox, header text and body text boxes will snap to match the column widths when dragged onto your slide. The default elements will automatically recolor to apply your theme fonts and colors when added to slides (and they can all be updated according to personal/brand preferences).

The Elements include:

  • Heading and Body Text boxes: when you add the Heading or Body text boxes to your slide from the Slide Builder, the elements will automatically resize when added to your slide to match the column width set up with the design guides
  • Number Balls: click to add formatted Number Balls to your PowerPoint slide. PowerPoint Number Balls automatically recolor to match your template
  • Callouts: The Callouts button lets you add a callout element to your PowerPoint slide - note that this is for callouts that you intend to keep in your final presentation (eg a datapoint callout on a chart). For marking up review comments you can use the Sticky Notes feature or the Sticky callouts feature described below
  • Divider arrows: Quickly add a formatted divider arrow to your slide. It automatically positions in the column gaps between your content
  • Harvey Balls: Add Harvey Balls to your slide from the Slide Builder toolbar (an additional option as Harvey Balls are also available from the Format Toolbar and the Ribbon)
  • Percent Complete balls: Similar to a Harvey Ball in concept, the Number Balls/ Percent Balls let you show an icon for Percent complete that you can easily customize (simply key in your preferred number and the fill line automatically updates)
  • Section bars: Quickly add section bars to your PowerPoint slides, to indicate chapters or levels in your deck
  • Highlight text bar: The Highlight bar is a preformatted color textbox you can add to PowerPoint slides to highlight specific information (similar to a callout in concept, but styled for formal reports)
  • Sticky callouts: An alternative to PPT Productivity's Sticky Notes that dock in the corner of PowerPoint slides. Sticky callouts can be positioned anywhere, and colors can be customized so you recognize reviewers. You can use the 'Find next' and 'Find previous' sticky Notes buttons to find next and previous sticky callouts
  • Down arrow: The Down arrow feature lets you add a Takeaway box to PowerPoint slides
  • Status note: An alternative to PPT Productivity's Status Stamps, the Status note lets you indicate the Status of a PowerPoint slide, with a tag that is automatically positioned to the right hand edge of your slide. The Status note is customizable, by default it says /STATUS
  • Footnote/ source boxes: Simply click to add a Footnote or source box to your PowerPoint slides
