What is Plus Tools by PPT Productivity?

PPT Productivity makes time-saving PowerPoint add-ins that let you boost your productivity to save time creating, refining and reusing polished presentations.

PPT Productivity has three product options - Power Tools, Plus Tools and Basic Tools for PowerPoint. PowerTools is our most popular product as it includes all 200+ features. PlusTools contains a subset of the features included in Power Tools - 40 timesaving features for those who use PowerPoint less frequently than our PowerTools customers, but want to save time on common tasks.

Here's a view of the Plus Tools PowerPoint ribbon (note that PlusTools does not have any of the vertical toolbars included - vertical toolbars for Formatting, Color Palette, Slide Library, Proofing Review and Chart formatting are available in PPT Productivity's PowerTools add-in for PowerPoint).

PPT Productivity Plus Tools for PowerPoint features include the following:

• File features: Email selected PowerPoint slides as .pptx format or as PDF format in a single click
• Paragraph styles:
  • Set up to 9 PowerPoint text and indent styles and create shortcut buttons for each. You can use this feature to remember custom bullet point levels, or a variety of different text styles.
  • Quickly insert check marks or cross marks to PowerPoint presentations
• Other Text formatting features: PowerPoint shortcuts to format text, split textboxes or join textboxes, convert text to dots or alternate characters (e.g. to redact text), buttons to quickly increase or decrease PowerPoint text margins, split or merge text boxes. There are also quick access buttons for how to fit text to textboxes -options are do not autofit, shrink text to fit shape and resize shape to fit text.
• Shape formatting features buttons to:
  • Make PowerPoint shapes same height and width,
  • Nudge shapes vertically and horizontally,
  • Swap position of shapes
  • Quick access to change line weight on shapes (eg to be thicker or thinner)
  • Multiply shapes or slice shapes into multiple smaller shapes
• Table formatting features: buttons that make it easy to insert rows and columns in PowerPoint, center table on slide, apply quick table formatting
• Proofing features: quick access to the features for PowerPoint spell check, cropping images and reducing image file size
• Slide features: camouflage option aka PowerPoint airplane mode to conceal PowerPoint slide branding for discretion while working in public spaces, Slide Title formatter, No Fly Zone for setting content perimeter on slides, and quick access to the Slide Layout gallery, send to appendix (single click to send a slide in your presentation to the back of the deck)
• Footer features: tag slides with source file and page number, slide numbering features to include slide totals and customize slide numbering wording, slide footer magnifier for easy reviewing
• Status stamps: adds a colored box to slides reflecting slide status (e.g. for review, to be updated, in confidence etc) - wording and colors of the Status Stamps for PowerPoint are customizable
