Change margins toggle
Quickly change margins in PowerPoint Text Boxes and Table Cell margins, using PPT Productivity's PowerPoint Change Margins Toggle feature. Choose from Normal, None, Narrow and Wide margins.
How to change margins in PowerPoint? The Change Margins Toggle feature lets you adjust margins in PowerPoint text boxes or table cells. Simply click the Change Margins Toggle button repeatedly to cycle quickly through the options.
Great to quickly adjust margins on a PowerPoint table to optimize size, or when trying to fit text in a shape you don't want to resize.
In standard PowerPoint, margin settings are each controlled separately for left, right, top and bottom. Accessing the standard PowerPoint margin settings is via right click > Format Shape and adjusting each value. This can be 6 or more clicks, plus multiple attempts to choose your preferred margins.
However this Change Margins toggle feature makes it faster. It's a great timesaving shortcut to set margins in PowerPoint quickly. Plus you can select more than one PowerPoint table and update margins across multiple tables in a single click.
- You can specify Margin settings within PPT Productivity for each of Normal, Narrow and Wide using the Margins -> Set Margin Defaults
- The Change Margins Toggle feature works on PowerPoint text box margins, shape margins or table margins. You can change a selection of cell margins in a table, or change all cell margins (change margins for selected cells in a PowerPoint table by selecting the cells, or apply change margins to all cells in a table by selecting the table).
All PPT Productivity PowerPoint addin features can be used via the Customizable PowerPoint Shortcuts feature. You can add a PowerPoint shortcut to Change Margins.
