Edit Shapes

PPT Productivity PowerPoint add-in has 100+ time saving features. Edit Shapes features let you quickly edit shapes eg to make them the same height and width, to paste shapes and 'hammer' them into the same place on multiple slides.

Most of the Edit Shapes features can all be found on the Format Shapes Toolbar for PPT Productivity Power Tools users (this includes the Free trial). The Format Shapes Toolbar can be redocked to the top, bottom or either side of your screen. You can resize the Toolbar and easily toggle to show or hide features or feature groups.

There's also a Color Palette toolbar to make recoloring easy, resizing features, shortcuts for adjusting outline thickness, margins in cells shapes and tables and much more.

PPT Productivity's features let you spend less time formatting so you can focus on the story.

Scroll down to read about the features or navigate using the menu at left.

Customize color palettes and share

PPT Productivity's Export palette feature lets you create a standard color palette in PowerPoint and share ith with your team.

PowerPoint color schemes for your presentation are often determined by the marketing team. But it's not always easy to find the correct color when working in a presentation. You can customize your color palette on PPT Productivity's Color Toolbar to include any additional colors you frequently use.

If you would like your team to also have the same standard color palette, you can export the palette to share it. Your team can easily import the color palette settings, so all team members have access to the same colors for their presentations.

For large organizations, your IT team can deploy a standard palette centrally to provide all team members with access to a consistent palette.

Productivity Tip

If your team always use the same presentation template, ensure the template has the color theme correctly set up. This will populate your Color palette toolbar and ensure easy access to the right color.

To do this, you need to edit the template .potx file rather than the instance of the template which opens when you select new presentation. Refer to our Color Palette for PowerPoint themes in templates guide.
